Our Terrace: 200 Seats, 7 Minutes from the Eiffel Tower

Lime trees, string lights, 200 seats in summer, heated in winter. Amourette Passy terrace is a 7-minute walk from the Eiffel Tower on Boulevard Delessert.

Boulevard Delessert

The terrace runs along Boulevard Delessert, a wide, quiet street in the 16th arrondissement, between Passy and Trocadero. The Eiffel Tower is 600 metres away — a seven-minute walk. The buildings around are classic Haussmann, cream stone and iron balconies. The pavement is broad enough that the terrace does not feel squeezed against the road.

We set up 200 seats in summer. Not crammed together. Tables have space between them. There is room for a stroller, a bag, a coat on the back of a chair. That matters when you are spending two hours outside.

The lime trees

Six mature lime trees shade the terrace. They were here before we were. In spring, they flower, and the terrace smells faintly sweet — a green, honeyed scent that mixes with coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. In summer, the canopy is dense enough that you can sit outside at noon without squinting. By October, the leaves turn gold and drop, and we sweep them away every morning.

The trees define the space. They break the terrace into smaller zones — a couple under one tree, a group of six under another. It feels like a garden, not a parking lot with chairs.

Morning vs. evening

In the morning, the terrace is calm. Sunlight comes from the east and hits the tables closest to the building. Regulars come for coffee around 11:30, sometimes with a laptop, sometimes with a newspaper, sometimes with a dog at their feet.

By evening, the terrace transforms. We turn on string lights strung between the lime tree branches. The light is warm, amber, not white. Candles appear on the tables. The sound level rises — laughter, glasses, conversation in three or four languages. On some evenings, there is live music, acoustic and unobtrusive.

The aperitif hour starts around 18:00. Cocktails from 15€ (Aperol Spritz, Mojito) to 20€ (TNT Tequila Patron). The house signature, Miss Amourette, is 18€.

Winter

The terrace does not close in winter. We cover part of it and heat it. Blankets go on every chair. The atmosphere becomes intimate — fewer people, lower voices, the warmth of the heaters above. On a clear December night, you can see the Eiffel Tower sparkle from certain tables.

When it gets truly cold, the private room upstairs takes over. Sixty seats, enclosed, warm, with the same menu and the same team. It works well for group dinners, birthdays, and private events.

Best times to come

  • Weekday lunch (12:00-14:00): Calm, plenty of tables, good light.
  • Aperitif hour (18:00-20:00): Lively, cocktail-focused. Come for a drink and stay for dinner.
  • Weekend dinner (20:00-22:00): The terrace at its busiest. Book ahead.
  • Late evening (22:00+): Quieter again. The kitchen still serves. A good moment for a glass of wine and a dessert.

We are open every day, 11:30 to 02:00. The terrace is available all day, weather permitting.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the terrace heated in winter?

Yes. We heat and partially cover the terrace throughout winter. Blankets are provided on every chair. When the weather is too harsh, the private room upstairs (60 seats) offers the same menu in a warm, enclosed setting. Book a table to make sure you have a spot.

Can I reserve a specific terrace table?

We do our best to accommodate table preferences, but we cannot guarantee a specific table. If you have a preference — near the trees, in a quieter corner — mention it when you book a table or call us at 09 52 86 14 47.

How many guests can the terrace seat?

In summer, the terrace seats 200 for a sit-down meal and up to 300 for a standing cocktail format. The private room upstairs adds 60 more seats. See our event options for group bookings.
